You know why I’m excited about January 19th? Baskets with Zach Galifianakis is coming back for a second season! This is definitely one of the funniest, weirdest, most awkward and hilarious, comedies on TV right now. Chip Baskets (Zach Galifianakis) is a sad clown that never fails to bring a smile to my face and entertainment to my evening. I love this show and can’t wait to see what happens next. It’s cheesy and weird comedy at its best. If you haven’t seen it you should really give it a shot. Especially if you are a Galifianakis fan.

Season 1 was hilarious. I don’t want to give too much away in case you haven’t seen it but the gist of the story is Chip Baskets just wants to be a clown. It’s a dream of his. Unfortunately, he was flunking French clown school and couldn’t afford to keep on, so he moved back to the states and got a job as a rodeo clown. His interview is hilarious and it cracks me up to see him trying to perform like a French clown while dodging bulls.

His family is extremely dysfunctional. His mother was so embarrassed by him she adopted twins just to have something to brag about. His brother is a douche bag that owns a career school and is always breaking his balls. His family dynamic is entertaining to say the least. I love it.

This holiday season, I received a holiday basket filled with all sorts of funny items from the show. It came with a bottle of Schweppes, cheeseballs, an ornament, a Baskets Career College planner, and my very own clip on man bun (which I gave to my husband). When it arrived in the mail I laughed so hard my face hurt. The contents were a perfect gift as they were completely in line with the show. My husband loved the man bun and can’t even refer to Schweppes anymore without screaming. It’s hilarious.
