Nothing Says “Happy Mother’s Day” Like Bacon-Wrapped Betty Crocker® Brownies with Chocolate Drizzle #BettyCrockerHeartsMoms
I gave birth to two wonderful sons and Mother’s Day is a big deal in my house. As a matter of fact, my poor husband’s birthday (May 9th) is always overshadowed by Mother’s Day, but he is a great sport about it. Every year, the boys take over the kitchen and make my dinner and surprise dessert. This year I’m requesting Bacon-Wrapped Betty Crocker® Brownies with Chocolate Drizzle. One of my favorite things about the day is watching the boys in the kitchen slaving away or being there after they go grocery shopping to see what foods they purchased for my gourmet meal. This year I gave them a hint and printed out the coupon I found to save $1 off any 1 qualifying Betty Crocker® baking item with the purchase of any 2 Betty Crocker® decorating items General Mills® at Publix. Who knows; maybe they will come home with more than Fudge Brownie mix and I’ll get some muffins or cake out of them, too.
Bacon-Wrapped Brownies with Chocolate Drizzle
Items you need:
- Betty Crocker Brownies
- Thick Bacon
- Chocolate Syrup
- Oil for Deep Frying
- Toothpicks
- Follow the directions on the box and bake your favorite Betty Crocker® brownies. Once cooled, cut into 1″ squares and put in freezer for an hour.
- Cut thick bacon pieces in half. Wrap bacon around frozen brownies covering it from each side. This should take one full piece of bacon. Hold in place with toothpick.
- Heat oil and deep fry until bacon is crispy. Remove and drain well on paper towel. Remove toothpicks and drizzle with chocolate syrup.
- Enjoy!
