There may be times during the apocalypse where you may need to make your own weapon. Your ability to improvise may be the only way you keep from becoming part of the zombie horde.
We had a cheap Rambo type knife that dropped a handle and a short aluminum pipe.
It only seemed natural to drill a hole through them, and using a few nuts, some Rustoleum, bolts, washers and grip tape devise a much more apocalypse worthy weapon.
Our homemade spear (aka Zombie The Q-Tip) is perfect for close quarters. It is shorter than most spears but longer than a knife to keep the biters back and enhance mobility in confined spaces. Just wrap the shaft up with Wilson Grip Tape for maximum thrusting power!
