I am busy. I don’t have a lot of time on my hands and getting the things I need to be done during the month is always easier if I don’t have to go a million places to get through my to-do list. Thanks to CVS and Target for making life simpler! Yes, it’s true…you can now find your favorite pharmacy inside your favorite big-box store. Now when I drop off my prescription I can pick up milk for breakfast, composition notebooks for James, and socks for hubby.
I get our prescriptions filled at CVS because it’s convenient and I save money. With the ExtraCare Rewards program and Pharmacy Health Rewards, I earn $5 in ExtraBucks Rewards for every 10 prescriptions filled. This really adds up at the end of the year. I can also earn rewards for doing things to stay healthy, like getting immunizations or choosing email refill reminders. I’m all about the rewards but like getting email refill reminders even more because they help me to remember to take important medications that I tend to forget about when they run out.
The CVS Mobile App is one of the best things ever. It notifies me when prescriptions are ready and makes it easy to refill prescriptions and check information at a glance. My favorite features of the app are the Drug Interaction Checker, Pill Identifier, easy prescription refill, and MedRemind. The CVS Mobile app really helps keep my family on track. Now that the app is integrated with Apple Watch, receiving notifications has never been easier. I am a big fan of the smartwatches and think the watch/phone combo is the best way there is to stay connected.
One of my favorite tools to use, when I am banking, is the scan check tool. With it, I can make deposits without ever having to go to the bank. The CVS Pharmacy App is equipped with very similar tools that allow you to scan paper prescriptions and even your insurance card! With Scan Paper Script and Insurance Card Scan, starting the prescription fill process has never been more easy or convenient. Now you can skip the prescription drop-off line altogether! For busy people like me, tools like these can really improve your quality of life. Skipping lines means I get to spend more time with the people I love most.
Target opening CVS pharmacies in stores is some the best news I’ve heard all year. I already shop Target for food, clothes, electronics, household items, etc. I enjoy the savings, quality of selection, and overall shopping experience. Target also gives a lot back to local communities and that is something I deeply appreciate. Over the years, Target has donated hundreds of millions to help people in need. I don’t have as much time to volunteer as I used to and prefer to shop at retailers like Target and CVS that are making a difference and value social responsibility. I also enjoy the convenience of being able to purchase everything I need in one place. For me, this combination really makes sense. Thanks to CVS Pharmacy and Target, my life is so much simpler.
