#MakeSomeoneHappy This Holiday Season
There are a whole lot of ways to spread happiness during the holidays. One sure fire way to bring a smile to someone’s face and cheer into their heart is to shower them with gifts. That is why we decided to share our Coca-Cola Holiday prize pack with a really good friend of our oldest son. Some may accuse him of being a bit weird sometimes and slightly overdramatic but we don’t care what anyone says about him. He will always have a special place in all of our hearts. He recently came to visit and we know he has had a tough year this year and we knew this would definitely bring a smile to his face – he is from Atlanta after all.
Moving out of state can make it hard to maintain relationships. It is easy to fall out of touch with people you consider friends. Fortunately for our oldest, his friends were willing and able to travel the extra mile to spend a week with him. How often do most people get to meet up with their old high school buddies? We are happy for them all and hope they continue to stay in touch.
After the holiday season is over there are many ways you can #MakeSomeoneHappy. We don’t have a lot of extra money lying around so we try to give our time as much as we can volunteering at our church. We put in a lot of hours this year helping set up events and things like that. Although you don’t make any money doing volunteer work, just knowing you are helping out can make you feel really good. I think volunteering helps us just as much as the people we are helping! So don’t be afraid to keep making people happy after the holidays! Giving your time can be very fulfilling.
