Today we decided to pack daddy’s old work cooler and enjoy a picnic at Lakefront Park.
Is there a better way to enjoy a beautiful summer day?
We arrived hungry and made quick work of the sandwiches. It’s hard to take your time when you are eating Buddig’s Premium Black Forest Ham. While walking around the lake we talked about what he wanted to be when he grows up. My son wants to be a computer programmer. When I asked him why, he was quick to respond. He loves computers and figuring how they work. He also loves creating things. He loves playing video games and wants to make them for a living. I think that is an excellent career path and will do everything I can to encourage him.
After walking and talking our obligatory half hour after eating, we were off to the trunk to get the video camera. He’s always loved taking pictures and making videos. Today he wanted to capture “a little underwater action.”
