Lisa’s Lens: Canon T3 vs. Canon PowerShot SX130
After saving every gift card I have gotten since January I finally bought my first DSLR camera, the Canon T3. I have never owned or even used a digital SLR camera before therefore I have some learning to do. Yesterday I decided to play with it a bit in the AUTO mode because I was curious what it would look like compared to my Canon PowerShot SX130 IS point and shoot. I think I’ll start sharing my practice photos on my blog every day (or every other) to let you see how I’m doing.
Here are the two shots I took. Neither have been edited and both have been resized.
Ooh photo B – photo B!!! If it isn’t you need to get your money back 🙂
Ooh.. oooh me me! It is B! The Canon T3 photo is B – if it isn’t, you should return it. LOL!
LOL Kelli – it’s actually Photograph A!
What was B taken with?
B was my point and click Canon PowerShot (which I love) and that is why I bought a Canon DSLR instead of Nikon.
I would say B for sure.
I choose A
A is sharper and B is lighter. I think the actual picture is sharper with A.
So I cheated and read the other comments. I know which one is the Cannon T3. I actually purchased one in December- my first DSLR too. I love it but I’ve found that on some trips, I still favor my smaller point and shoot camera. Have fun with your new camera!
Thanks, it’s hard to find the time to learn all this stuff…lol
The lighting looks better on B, but I still think A is the better shot 🙂 I have a T3 and LURVE it!
Once I learn more it wont be so bad 🙂
