Family Game Night with MONOPOLY PLUS and the Hasbro Game Channel
How long has it been since you’ve enjoyed a good old fashioned family game night? Cleaning up around the house, taking care of the kids, cooking meals, and going to work are important but so is spending time with the ones you love most. Spending time together as a family is a wise investment that builds stronger emotional bonds and enhances communication between both parents and children.
One of our favorite ways to spend time together as a family is over a board game. The only problem is no matter what the game, not all the pieces find their way back in the box.Since we started playing on Hasbro Game Channel we haven’t lost a piece yet! Hasbro Game Channel is available for download on all the top game consoles and is a great way to enjoy classics like Monopoly, Risk, and Trivial Pursuit. Just turn on your console, sign in, and you’re ready to go without having to set up anything!
We have been playing Monopoly Plus for about a week and a half just about every evening as a family. Everyone loves the quality of the graphics and how easy it is to get a game going. We love playing board games but nobody ever looks forward to putting it all away. This game leaves you nothing to put away but controllers.
Other than the 3D Monopoly Board, one of my favorite features of the game is the option to customize gameplay by changing the “House Rules.” Changing what happens when you land on go or free parking can really shake things up. How does collecting $400 or moving your token to any location on the board sound? Changing the House Rules challenges everyone to use different strategies and keeps us playing for hours on end.
Monopoly Plus is one of the few games I like playing win or lose. Don’t get me wrong I love to win but Monopoly is about so much more than that to me. What I enjoy most is the wheeling and dealing. Negotiation can be challenging but is definitely one of my favorite aspects of the game.

We just love this game! It is so much fun and game night is much more real when we see it on the TV screen. My kids can’t get enough!
We have been playing a lot lately! Can’t wait to do some Trivial Pursuit.
We LOVE Monopoly Plus! My kids like to make trades – the 6 year old tries to get me to give him money by giving me $1 and asking for $50!
That is so cool! We love Monopoly but I had no idea you could play this way.
I love this idea. Unfortunately we only have classic Wii and Xbox 360.
I would rather play this way because then I wouldn’t have to pick up all the pieces afterwards or lose pieces.
We LOVE family game night and have a huge collection of games to choose from, but sadly, we’re guilty of missing pieces as well. This looks like a super fun way to get around this little inconvenience! I love the graphics! Very inviting!

The ability to change the house rules is such a fun thing! Also, there’s MAJOR appeal in not losing pieces. 🙂
