Fun Kids Meals on the Go
With the hectic schedules we have throughout the year they are nothing to compare to the upcoming holiday schedules about to ensue. Our kids are always in a hurry, so it is important to find ways to make eating a priority. Making fun kids meals like Walking Tacos by SunChips not only is meal preparation easier but clean up is a breeze and the kids LOVE eating out of a bag. We did Walking Tacos for Halloween, but we plan on incorporating them into our monthly menu going forward.
Walking Tacos Recipe
Ingredients
- Shredded cheddar cheese
- 12 – 1 to 2 oz. bags of SUNCHIPS Garden Salsa Flavored Multigrain Snacks
Chicken Mixture
- 4 cups cooked, diced chicken – prefer rotisserie
- 1 – 1.25 oz. package of taco seasoning
- 1 cup water
- 1 – 15 oz jar TOSTITOS All Natural Chunky Salsa
Instructions
Combine all chicken mixture ingredients (chicken, water, taco seasoning, salsa) in a medium sauce pan over medium heat and simmer for 8 – 10 minutes.
Building Your Walking Taco
- Open one bag of SUNCHIPS Garden Salso Flavored Multigrain Snacks
- Add 1/2 cup of chicken mixture to the bag.
- Sprinkle with cheddar cheese to taste. Serves 12.
