Don’t Be a Zombie #ComeAlive with MyEducation.com

Since Halloween is right around the corner, the #ComeAlive videos for MyEducation.com seem to be the perfect advertising for their target market.  Face it, Zombies are in and if you haven’t seen the commercial you don’t know what you are missing.  It really was well thought out and the message was very clear….it is never too late to make something of your life and go back to school.  This is a message I take to heart.  I started my AA degree when I was 27 years old and didn’t finish it until nearly 10 years later.  I didn’t get my BS degree until I was 42 years old and I’m preparing now for GMATS and LSATS to go either to graduate school or law school next year.  I just haven’t decided which one….

With MyEducation.com you can come alive with education!  Pretty clever, isn’t it?  College stimulates your brain.  I love learning and I believe my growth potential is never ending, regardless of my age. With that being said, the hardest part for me about continuing my education is financing it.  Although I got full scholarships all throughout college I had to use student loans to help support my family and I just can’t incur any more debt.  I’m always looking for scholarships and other ways to help with the financial burden and MyEducation.com is having a Come Alive contest featuring a $2500 prize!

 Additional contest information:

The popularity of MyEducation.com’s “Come Alive” videos correlate to their “Heat Score.” The top 10 videos will be judged and determined the winner at the end of the contest period (see official rules for details). The goal is to get as many people as you can — your family, your friends, your co-workers, even those folks who suck the life out of you (we all have ‘em!) to watch and BECOME A FAN of your channel. SHARE your channel on your Facebook page, put it on your personal website, even Tweet your channel to all of your friends. The point is to get as many (Alive!) people as possible to watch, leave comments and share your channel!

And, as with every zombie movie, there are challenges along the way, which is why MyEducation.com’s bi-monthly Challenges will keep things interesting. Beginning October 15, head to our Challenges page to find out how you can upload a video that may win you a $100 gift card.
