Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® & Kids In Need Foundation Teamed up For Picture Day

Disclosure: This is a sponsored post with Colgate. Opinions are my own.

It’s that time of the year. Picture day is fast approaching and will be here before you know it. They key to brighter smiles is locked away in every tube of Colgate® toothpaste and is best unlocked with healthy habits like daily brushing, flossing, and rinsing. You can wait until the last minute to get a haircut but good oral hygiene is something you have to practice on a regular basis if you want the biggest brightest smile possible. Bright smiles look great in pictures and help inspire kids to feel better about themselves.

Colgate’s Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® educational program and the Kids In Need Foundation have joined forces to better equip families in need and educators with the resources they require to promote healthy habits and bright futures. Colgate kicked off the Smile for Picture Day campaign by donating 25,000 Colgate® Kids toothbrushes and tubes of toothpaste to the Kids in Need Foundation. From now through November 17th, 2017 elementary school teachers, educators, parents, and members of communities across the country are encouraged to make a pledge to spread the word regarding the importance of oral health by teaching kids how to build and maintain healthy habits. Every pledge you submit will be entered into a drawing for a chance for three elementary schools to win 500 Colgate® Kids toothbrush and toothbrush kits (check out the website for full details). As an added bonus, you can also click here to download Colgate’s award-winning Bright Smiles, Bright Futures™ oral health curriculum.

Plus, if you share a picture day photo of your child or students on social media with the hashtags #brightsmilesbrightfutures #promo on or before November 17th and Colgate will donate yet another $1 to the Kids in Need Foundation. This could really make a difference to kids and families across the country.

Picture day is a day that you should never take for granted. Kids grow up fast and sooner or later you are going to want to look back and remember how they changed over the years. They start out so small and before you know it they are graduating from high school, going to college, and moving out. The more pictures you have during the time in-between the more you can cherish the memories of experiences you may have otherwise forgotten.

Are you willing to take the pledge?

  1. Mary Ambrosino says

Take care of your teeth or else you could end up spending 10K later in life like I did.

  2. This is really great. I love the fact that Colgate is doing this campaign. It’s important to teach our kids that teeth brushing is important. Yay for picture day with shiny, healthy smiles 🙂
