Being Bold: What Fuels Your Kids #MottsFruitRush

My youngest son, James, is your typical 10-year old boy.  He loves sports, riding his bike, video games, and anything related to the military.  He “trains” with his dad often and I think if there was ever a Zombie Apocalypse he would be an incredible survivalist.  He even has his own survival kit he put together just in case he ever needs it.  One day I believe he will be a great soldier because anything military related fuels him.  He embodies what being bold is all about and that means we need to take care of him and make sure he stays hydrated and healthy.

Staying hydrated has been a challenge in the past.  James loves fruit juice, but the sugar content isn’t always what I consider to be healthy. When I was asked to taste test the new Motts fruit flavors with him we took the challenge seriously.  We found out shortly thereafter that 40% less sugar and no artificial sweeteners didn’t mean watered down and tasteless.  The bonus?  The new fruit flavors from Mott’s were as bold as James and contained 100% Daily Value of Vitamin C and no high-fructose corn syrup.  That’s important for a “soldier in training”.  The new flavors include Fruit Punch Rush, Wild Grape Surge, and Strawberry Boom.

More info about Mott’s fruit flavors that rock – Rush, Surge, Boom

One full serving of fruit per cup.

Fruit Punch Rush has 52% juice content, and Wild Grape Surge and Strawberry Boom have 53% juice content – while the majority of juice drinks are just 5 to 10% juice.

You can find them in 64-oz. and 8-oz. sizes (which are available in convenient six packs and perfect for school lunches, after-school activities and on-the-go).  James uses the 8 oz. size for his “training” with his dad and his long bike rides to the lake.

My son loves soccer, and he’s quite good for his age. I think that fuels him. He loves being out on the field.
