Game Day Appetizer: Baby Portabella Stuffed Mushrooms

Game day is right around the corner and it’s time to start preparing your menu to ensure your Super Bowl party is THE party to attend.  Every year we try to host a party featuring some of our favorite appetizers and one of the biggest hits is our Baby Portabella Stuffed Mushrooms featuring Crystal Farms.  The beauty of this recipe is it features everything that you probably already have in your pantry or refrigerator.

Baby Portabella Stuffed Mushrooms

Baby Portabella Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces Whole Baby Portabella Mushrooms
  • 2 T. Chopped onion
  • 1 t. Chopped garlic
  • 1/4 c. Seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 t. Parmesan or Romano cheese
  • 1 t. olive oil or butter
  • 10 – 12 Slices of marble jack cracker cuts or your favorite Crystal Farms Cracker Cut cheese

Stuffed Mushrooms Recipe

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. After rinsing mushrooms pull out the stems, place caps on a cookie sheet.  Chop stems, onions, and garlic and saute in olive oil or butter until translucent.  Add bread crumbs and Parmesan or Roman cheese.  Let cool slightly and then spoon into the mushroom caps.  Place a piece of Crystal Farms cracker cut cheese over each mushroom and place in oven to bake for 15 minutes.  Enjoy!
